Candy box with a New Year’s design that attracts attention

New Year’s packaging for a set of sweets for children should be convenient, safe, and colorful. First, such a box should interest not only the child but also the parents looking for something colorful for a gift. 

It was with this request that the client approached ZEE Custom Boxes. We offered a suitable lamination solution. The coating turned out to be full-color, glossy, and very attractive. We will tell you in detail below.

Which design was chosen?

The ideal option for packaging candies is the FEFCO 0217 model box. The design has one side glued together in production and a self-assembling top and bottom part. The dovetail bottom keeps the candies securely inside. When assembled, the top flaps form a strong lid with a handle, a must-have for a candy box. This handle is necessary for easy carrying of the gift.

The client liked the proposed design, as it met the requirements of convenience and reliability. 

Printing and lamination

During the first communication, the client showed us the design he wanted to put on the packaging. The presence of colorful elements and several colors distinguished it. Since the customer planned to order a large batch, we suggested that he choose offset printing technology, which made applying a full-color and rich image possible.

In addition, since candy bags are usually given out during celebrations, there are additional risks in the form of constant falls and spilled drinks. We made a glossy lamination on the box’s surface to enhance the strength and moisture-resistant characteristics. This made the box shine even more.
